Here is an excerpt of NEXPO99's coverage of its new exhibitors, including Fake Brains Software: NEXPO'S NEW LOOK Companies at NEXPO for the first time include Ataboy Inc. (Booth 1679), Fake Brains Software Inc. (Booth 1720), Par Omega Corp. (Booth 2985), SAP America (Booth 2225) and Informacion Directa y Especializada (Booth 2467). Both big and small, these new exhibitors offer products ranging from services to software. "It seems like all the fingers point to NEXPO," says Lisa Pfeifer, vice president of sales for Littleton, Colo.-based Fake Brains Software Inc. "We have gone to a lot of other shows, and the costs really start to add up. At NEXPO, you get a lot more bang for your buck because so many people plan on being there." Fake Brains has been in business since 1993. It got its start handling accounts receivable data for display and classified advertising for a weekly shopper and, according to Pfeifer, it took off from there. Fake Brains now has some small dailies using its software, and plans to develop subscription software. Another smaller company making its first trip to NEXPO is Ataboy, Inc. .... |
